How We Work
Every engagement follows a structured and documented process designed to reduce procurement risk and support informed commercial decisions.
- 01
Client Requirement
We take time to understand what is needed, including the product, specification, quantity, destination, timeline, budget and any quality, documentation or compliance requirements.
- 02
Supplier Identification
We identify potential suppliers and manufacturers through independent research and our developing supplier network, prioritising authorised distributors and credible supply routes where appropriate.
- 03
Verification
We carry out proportionate due diligence by requesting documentation, reviewing credentials and, where reasonably possible, seeking independent confirmation from the manufacturer or another credible source.
- 04
Risk Assessment
We identify and document relevant procurement risks, which may include counterfeit exposure, unclear supply routes, specification conflicts, documentation gaps, commercial concerns or uncertain product origin.
- 05
Inspection, where applicable
Where required and agreed, we carry out or arrange inspection of goods before shipment, supported by photographic evidence and a formal inspection report.
- 06
Client Report
We provide a clear report summarising our findings, identified risks, limitations, confidence level where appropriate, and our professional recommendation.
- 07
Procurement Support
Following the client's decision and approval, we support the agreed procurement process, which may include purchase order coordination, supplier communication, documentation and logistics arrangements through to delivery.
How conclusions are presented
JUFEM distinguishes clearly between:
- Information independently verified
- Information supported by supplier documentation
- Information stated by a supplier but not independently confirmed
- Information that could not be verified
Where evidence is incomplete, the limitation is recorded and communicated.
Who makes the final decision?
JUFEM provides professional assurance and evidence-based recommendations.
The client remains responsible for the final commercial decision. Our role is to ensure that decision is made using the best information reasonably available.
