Responsible Sourcing

Good procurement is responsible procurement.

Who you buy from matters as much as what you buy. We consider ethical, social and environmental factors alongside price, quality and delivery.

Our principles

What responsible sourcing means to us

Integrity and anti-bribery

We do not offer, pay or accept bribes or facilitation payments, and we expect the same of the suppliers we recommend.

Human rights and fair labour

We pay attention to signs of forced, bonded or child labour and unsafe working conditions, in line with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

Environmental responsibility

Where options allow, we favour suppliers who manage waste, emissions and materials responsibly, and we look for efficient logistics.

Transparent supply routes

We prefer manufacturers and authorised distributors, and we question supply chains that cannot be traced or explained.

Sanctions awareness

We take account of UK sanctions and export-control considerations when assessing counterparties and destinations.

Data and confidentiality

Client and supplier information is handled securely and in line with UK GDPR.

If a supplier cannot show us how a product is made, where it comes from and who is behind it, we say so, and we tell our clients.

Our commitment to every client
