How JUFEM Global Trade Limited collects, uses and protects your personal data. Last updated: 1 November 2026.

1. Who we are

JUFEM Global Trade Limited (“JUFEM”, “we”, “us”) is a company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17336756). We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. Contact us about privacy at info@jufemglobaltrade.com.

2. Data we collect

  • Contact details you give us, such as your name, company, job title, email address and telephone number
  • The content of enquiries, quotation requests and correspondence
  • Business information relating to suppliers and counterparties we are asked to verify
  • Technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected through server logs and essential cookies

3. How and why we use it

We use personal data only where we have a lawful basis under UK GDPR:

  • To respond to enquiries and provide our services (contract, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract)
  • To carry out supplier verification and due diligence (our and our clients’ legitimate interests in preventing fraud and managing supply-chain risk)
  • To meet legal and regulatory obligations, such as record keeping (legal obligation)
  • To keep our website secure and working (legitimate interests)

4. Sharing your data

We do not sell personal data. We share it only where needed to deliver our services, for example with inspection partners, logistics providers, IT and email hosting providers, and professional advisers, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms, or where required by law.

5. International transfers

Some of our work involves suppliers and partners outside the UK. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we use safeguards recognised under UK data-protection law, such as adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.

6. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry data for as long as needed to respond and for a reasonable period afterwards. Client and transaction records are normally kept for up to six years to meet legal and accounting requirements, after which they are securely deleted.

7. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies and similar technologies needed for it to function, including page caching and spam protection on forms. We do not use advertising cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us. We will respond within one month.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
